Donuts
Delite was a Rochester monument. Groups of retirees gathered
here to drink coffee and shoot the breeze. Crowds stopped by after church on Sundays. They were
doing this since long before Starbucks. For years, people stood at the counter and smoked. It was perfectly European. There were many donut options
in the city but their plain fried cakes ruled. It's still a beautiful piece
of architecture but sadly no longer a coffee shop. The photo below was on their
wall near the door.
