BUILDING
A HOUSE IN THE ADIRONDACKS

Pete
and Shelley bought some land a year ago in a pretty remote
part of the Adirondacks. They have no electricity or running water
there. They are "off the grid". Only a handful of cars come down
their gravel road in the course of day. There is a briskly moving
stream out back and a marsh big enough to john boat around in. It is paradise. They built this beautiful shed in two months so they certainly
didn't need our help building a house. But we wanted to get up here
and pitch in.
