I
tried to get it all in: the celestial sky and slope of Pinnacle Hill,
the overreaching four trees of my backyard, the narrowing square of
the room where I read beneath the lamplight, and the light left on
in the cellar, where the saint Pomme de Terre has a celestial cohort.
