Rochester Contemporary
Pyramid,
the not for profit, twenty year old art institution in
Rochester has changed its name to Rochester Contemporary
and they have a beautiful new space on East Avenue. The
Pyramid, in its many locations (the triangular storefront
on Monroe Avenue, the loft space on Saint Paul, the huge
warehouse space in Peddler's Village and their smaller
quarters in the Village Gate) has presented the best alternative
art in town. The annual Members Show is always a delight.
Check out the Milton Rogovin Show that was at RoCo in early 2004.
Here are some photos from a show of Paul Dodd paintings there.
Artist,
Anne Havens, sent us this proposal for signage for the
new RoCo.
